Midday 8-1-10

Day 14

White Blood Cell is back within normal levels!!! Praise be to the Lord! His lung/(s) are doing super, his infections are responding to antibiotics, he is eating and drinking on his own, the only hurdle left is the brain injury. As soon as things are ready in Mt. Vernon we will be leaving Cox. Maybe as soon as tomorrow after we see Dr. Simpson. Stay tuned for location change. He is able to have visitors again for short periods of time, but you will need to wash up and put on a gown. If you are not feeling well please do not bring the bug to him. Thanks for understanding.
Keep praying!

  5. Hello,
My name is Tim Winkler. I do not know Guy nor anyone of you in his family. I read about him on MO Sports.com. I just want to wish him and all of you well and to let you know you have all been in my prayers.

Things sound much more positive now than they did just a few weeks ago. For that, I am happy for him as well as the rest of you. I hope the news continues in this same direction.

  7. Thank you for the updates. Guy continues to be in our prayers. I cross paths with Guy continually when we are both covering sporting events.... I look forward to his recovery and seeing him back out there again.
