Morning Report 7-21-10

I have not seen a doctor yet so I will give you some answers to questions that I have recieved about: What happened?

Guy was in a 4 wheeler accident Sunday afternoon about 1/2 mile away from our home.
He was airlifted from that site and brought to Cox South in Springfield.
We are currently in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit and may be here for a while, doctors say a week at the least.

We are taking things as they come and looking forward. I feel like we have great doctors and nurses who are providing Guy with the best care possible.

Guy is pretty heavily sedated because when he is not, he wants out of the bed and tubes out-Not a man who likes to lay still going on day 3.

Current Prayer request is that Guy stay relaxed and not be aggitated so the healing can come.

Again I can not get over the amount of LOVE that has been poured out on us here! We all appreciate the text messages, facebook messages, phone calls, visits and most of all the PRAYER being lifted up on our behalf, please keep it up.

  1. Vicki,
I heard this song this morning after taking Phillip to football camp and it brought tears to my eyes. I hope you get a chance to listen to it. Love you and I am praying for the healing hand of God for Guy physically and spiritually.

  2. "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
    2 Cor. 9-10

Vicki, We are continuing to pray for Guy's total healing. We also pray that God's indescribable power and grace bring you peace and His power will rest upon you. You may not be strong, but Christ is strong within you. The O'Neals love you!

  3. Newcomb family,
I am so sorry to hear about this. I dont know Guy very well, but I know that he must be an amazing and very nice guy (no pun intended) if he is from the Newcomb family. I will be sending my prayers as will the rest of the family not only for Guy, but for your whole family while you are going through this very tough time. I am so glad that my family and I have you guys (once again, no pun intended) as close friends.

    Thoughts and prayers,
    Ethan B. O'Neal

we are praying for your Strength and Guy's healing. Isaiah 40 vs. 29-31 He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he will increase their strength. Even the young shall be faint and be weary...But they that wait upon the LORD He shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not grow faint. I know the Lord is with you and Guy and the kids. I know his power and he will give you strength when you cannot take another step and he can do what man cannot. You have not left my thoughts or my prayers all week. We love you and are praying for a complete healing for Guy and strength and comfort for you and the kids.
LOVE YA Sharon Brittany Cody and Caiden
